Jasmine absolute is one of the most prized ingredients in perfumery, known for its rich, and captivating scent.
Originally from Persia and Kashmir, jasmine later played a key role in the success of the town of Grasse. Today, it’s mostly grown in Egypt and India, where skilled harvesters pick the delicate flowers by hand, ensuring a 100% natural quality. Its scent is floral, slightly fruity, and subtly animalic, with soft, velvety notes. It also carries powdery and slightly green touches that evoke the freshness of nightfall.
In perfumery, jasmine absolute is often blended with rose to create romantic floral accords, or with bergamot for brighter, more sparkling compositions.
